London-based conductor Yi Wei joins us as the Constant Lambert Conducting Fellow for 2023/24.

Yi Wei recently made his debut with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, and has conducted many noteworthy orchestras such as BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Northern Ballet Sinfonia and Orchestra Academia China to mention a few.

Yi's first role with BRB will be Black Sabbath - The Ballet: the highly anticipated heavy metal experience that arrives on UK stages in just under a month.

We are looking forward to Yi's debut with BRB and we welcome him to the Company.

It is such a privilege to join the BRB for the next two seasons, I am thrilled to start the season with Black Sabbath - The Ballet, very much looking forward to working with fantastic conductors, musicians and dancers.
