Freefalling through the Decades

Freefall Dance Company returns to the Patrick Studio at Birmingham Hippodrome for the first time in three years with their 2022 Annual Showcase titled Freefalling through the Decades.

This year's showcase is a celebration of 21 years of Freefall and features dances from throughout their history.

September Reflections – first performed at Freefall's inaugural performance in 2002. It was created in response to the events of 11 September 2001. An emotive piece danced to Chopin piano studies.

The Clean Sweep – Created and performed in 2012, commissioned by Mencap as part of the WeDance Festival, celebrating the 2012 Cultural Olympiad. Revived/reinvented for the Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022 and performed as part of Birmingham International Dance Festival.

Freefalling on the Tele! - A new piece for 2022, putting a Freefall spin on well-known TV theme tunes.
