Most challenging role: Aurora in Sir Peter Wright’s production of The Sleeping Beauty is a celebration of English classical ballet famous for its virtuosity, purity and the challenging stamina required for the extra pas de deux.

Dream role: The Girl in MacMillan’s The Judas Tree. It’s devastating, disturbing and demanding, highlighting the darkest psychology of MacMillan’s work. The women who have excelled in that role I hold in the highest esteem.

Pre-show preparation: A power nap, an espresso and some dark chocolate.

Awards: Youth American Grand Prix 2007 finalist; Prince Edward Award 2007.
