Hemma Patel

Hemma became a fan of Birmingham Royal Ballet when she was first introduced to it at a young age through her local school.

She joined the Board in 2016.

Now based in London but with strong connections to her Birmingham roots, Hemma is General Counsel at EMEIA, a large multinational Swedish listed conglomerate.

She has over 20 years in-house and private practice legal experience, some of which was gained whilst she lived and worked in the Middle East.

Hemma has solid experience in legal, compliance, data protection and crisis management.
