Christine Ondimu
Christine is a qualified Lawyer currently working as a manager at HSBC Bank UK.
Her career spans twenty plus years in the Financial Services Sector where she has worked in four countries – the United States of America, South Africa, Kenya and now the United Kingdom. Christine is also a Director of Elimu Academy, Kisii in Kenya.
Christine is passionate about Diversity and Inclusion and Equal Opportunities for all. At work, Christine has enthusiastically advocated and led career sponsorship programmes for minority ethnic groups and for people with disability. She is also a champion for youth who are seeking employment opportunities.
In 2019, Christine was named Mentor/Sponsor of the Year, was a Rising Star Award winner and TOP 10 BAME Future leader - all honours bestowed by different reputable external entities. In 2021, she won the HSBC EMBRACE UK Line Of Business Super Star Award for her work in D&I.
In addition to running the Delaware Marathon and the London Half Marathon and raising funds for the British Red Cross, Christine’s extracurricular activities include playing the piano, writing on topical issues, hiking and going to the gym. She lives in Kent, with her two children.
