Bruno Poet
Bruno Poet works extensively in dance, opera, theatre and live music. He is the recipient of two Knight of Illumination Awards, one in 2013 for theSigur Rós world tour and one in 2011 for Frankenstein at the National Theatre, for which he also won the Olivier Award for Best Lighting Design.
Recent Dance credits include: Material Men (Shobana Jeyasingh/ Southbank Centre and UK Tour); Connectome (Alastair Marriott/ Royal Ballet); Zeitgeist (Alastair Marriott/ Coliseum); Elsa Canasta (Javier de Frutos/ Scottish Ballet) and Other Stories (Royal Ballet).
Recent opera credits include Akhnaten (ENO/ LA Opera); Carmen (ENO/ Den Norske Opera); Das Liebesverbot (Teatro Real, Madrid); Die Dreigroschenoper (Theatre an der Wein); Il Trovatore (Macerata Festival) and Der Freischutz (Royal Danish Opera).
Theatre credits include Faith Healer (Donmar Warehouse); Light Shining in Buckinghamshire, Treasure Island, London Road, (National Theatre); Miss Saigon, From Here to Eternity (West End) and productions for RSC, Old Vic, Royal Court, Barbican and many other London and regional theatres. Bruno is also lighting the current world tour for Sigur Rós.
