Get Involved

Birmingham Royal Ballet offers opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to engage with and learn about the Company. The dedicated Learning, Engagement, Access and Participation team have a wide range of expertise and skills, and ensure that all projects are inclusive, enjoyable and empowering experiences, and that the bespoke nature of the work enables each group to engage, participate and achieve.

Dance Track

Dance Track is a talent identification programme training young dancers aged from six to eight. Workshops introduce dance in a fun, friendly and accessible way, instilling a passion for dance at an early age.

Repertoire Training

Our Repertoire Training classes strengthen ballet students' passion for and enjoyment of dance. These unmissable classes are designed around specific ballet examination grades to suit different levels of experience.

Freefall Dance Company

A group of ten highly gifted dancers with learning disabilities, mentored and supported by Birmingham Royal Ballet staff, freelance artists, senior teachers and teaching assistants, in collaboration with Fox Hollies Performing Arts College.

LEAP Ambassadors

Our LEAP Ambassadors programme is a free, year-long residency at Birmingham Royal Ballet for young people aged between 16 and 25. Participants have the chance to work alongside industry professionals, develop new skills and get an insight into how an arts organisation works.
