The Caroline Miller Fund
The Caroline Miller Fund
Marking Caroline's incredible passion and commitment to BRB
This donation fund has been launched in response to family, friends, colleagues and members of the arts community who have expressed a wish to honour Caroline's passions and her achievements as an incredible arts leader.
All funds raised will support 20th-Century Masterpieces, our triple bill of Birthday Offering (Sir Frederick Ashton), Theme and Variations (George Balanchine) and The Green Table (Kurt Jooss) at Birmingham Hippodrome in June 2026. Ashton was a favourite of Caroline’s, with La Fille mal gardée being one of the first ballets Caroline saw as a child.
Caroline was so pleased we could schedule a triple bill back into our June season after two years of international summer touring. Triple bills are much-loved by ballet fans and a great introduction to ballet for new audiences, offering the opportunity to enjoy three different stories and choreographic styles in a single visit to the theatre.

The 20th-Century Masterpieces triple bill will feature:
- Theme and Variations (Balanchine) - a glorious joyful ballet from the master of American classical choreography; created in 1946 and most recently performed by BRB in 2015.
- Birthday Offering (Ashton) was created for The Royal Ballet (then Sadler's Wells Ballet) to celebrate its 25th anniversary in 1956 and has been performed to celebrate special events for both Royal Companies ever since; BRB last performed it in 1995
- The Green Table (Jooss) was created in 1932 and first danced by BRB in 1992 as part of a triple bill curated by then Director Sir Peter Wright, who started his dance career as an apprentice in Jooss's company; The Green Table is Jooss's best-known and most powerful work.
Donations will be eligible for Gift Aid, if you are a UK Tax Payer, to boost your gift and further our reach.
