Lachlan Monaghan

Born in Sydney, Australia, Lachlan Monaghan trained there at the the McDonald College and then at the Royal Ballet School. As a student he danced with The Royal Ballet in Romeo and Juliet, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and The Prince of the Pogodas. At the Royal Ballet School his repertory included: Black Knight in Checkmate, Paquita pas de trois, Parrish Maynard's Fractals, Jirí Kylían's Un ballo and John Neumeier's Spring and Fall. He won the 2009 McDonald's Ballet Scholarship in Sydney and a bronze medal at the 2010 Adeline Genée Awards. He joined Birmingham Royal Ballet in 2012.
