James BartonBorn on the Wirral, James Barton started dancing at the age of three and studied at Elmhurst School for Dance. As a student, performed with Birmingham Royal Ballet in Beauty and the Beast, The Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, The Rite of Spring, The Lady and the Fool and Hobson's Choice. He joined Birmingham Royal Ballet in 2006 and was promoted to First Artist in 2011; Soloist 2012.
